Confused

Where does my broken heart go?
When you love someone so much
And they run away
When everything the heart feels
just goes away
What happens when there's nothing left
Where do you go to feel whole again?
Never wanting to get hurt
but taking your heart
on the emotional
ride of loving someone like you
What do I do to feel the way I once knew?
the way I felt before I met you

Can you be my escape

my light amongst all the darkness

my smile when I’m frowning

the joy when I’m feeling sad

Show me the love you have for me

show me how to be happy in your eyes

strong in your embrace

Lost in the warmth of your soul

Can you be my escape from this world so cold

Open up and let me crawl inside

Be the place I can hide

From all the things that bring me down

Higher Love

Your love takes me higher than the sky above
You send me in ecstasy with your love
Put your hand in mine
fly to the clouds above
Soft like and angel and feathers on a dove
Your love takes mehigher than I’ve ever knownl
ighting that fire within my soul
I’m feeling things I’ve never felt before
You’re the drug that eases my pain
One kiss from your lips drives me insane
This high is better than heroin or cocaine
You’re all that I need and
Your love takes me where I want to be
